Chocolado Frosting

Creamy, all natural, dairy free chocolate frosting made with avacado! Fast and simple, the 6 ingredients are blended in your food processor or blender.


INGREDIENTS:


1 avacado, just ripe

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/3 cup maple syrup, OR

( 3 Tbsp maple syrup + 2 Tbsp honey )

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp brewed coffee *

1/8 tsp salt


DIRECTIONS:


Peel avacado, remove pit, and put into food processor.

Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides for even distribution and blending. Done!


Makes enough to cover a single layer cake or about 6-8 cupcakes, depending on how thick you apply the frosting.

*If you'd like a slightly thinner frosting, add additional brewed coffee, 1 teaspoon at a time, but no more than 3 extra teaspoons.
